Privacy policy

This site belongs to Joe Wilson, trading as The Plant PT, a personal trainer and boxing coach based in Glasgow, UK. This page explains, in plain English, what happens to any personal details you share here.

What's collected, and why

• Enquiry form — your name, email, optional phone number, training goals and message. Used for one thing: replying to your enquiry and arranging your free consult.
• Newsletter & free-trial signup — your email address (and name if you give it), used to send your free class or trial-week details and Joe's fortnightly training note. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Both forms only send anything when you tick the consent box — consent is the legal basis for processing (UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(a)). Nothing is collected silently.

Where your details live

Form submissions are stored securely with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and may also be delivered straight to Joe's inbox by our form-delivery provider. If you sign up for the newsletter, your email is also stored with our email-marketing provider (MailerLite) so Joe can send it. Your details are never sold, rented or shared with anyone else for marketing.

How long they're kept

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and any coaching that follows. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask for your details to be deleted at any time — see your rights below.

Cookies & tracking

This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If visitor analytics run, they are cookieless, anonymous page counts — never personal profiles.

Links to other sites

The site links out to Instagram, The Plant PT Shop, TeamUp (class bookings) and partner brands (some via affiliate links). Those sites have their own privacy policies — what you do there is between you and them.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you can, at any time:

• ask what details are held about you (access);
• ask for them to be corrected (rectification);
• ask for them to be deleted (erasure);
• withdraw consent — including unsubscribing from emails.
